Alive At Five Returns for Week 2 with Rapper Lil’ Kim
Free 60s-Themed Concert to Also Take Place in Mill River Park
STAMFORD — After an amazing performance by Sublime with Rome on Thursday, July 25, the second installment of this year’s Alive at Five series is starting off the month of August in Stamford. The event will take place on the Poland Spring Stage in Mill River Park on Thursday, August 1, featuring a new headliner. Additionally, each week, community partners who contribute to the betterment of the Stamford community will be honored.

Concert Preview: Thursday, August 1
Alive At Five continues in Stamford with a second concert on Thursday, August 1 at Mill River Park. The event will feature New York-based DJ Taela Naomi, known for her signature party "The Dance Party," as the opening act for popular rapper Lil' Kim.
Lil' Kim gained fame in the 1990s as a member of the rap group Junior M.A.F.I.A. before starting a successful solo career. She is recognized for her provocative image and explicit lyrics. Discovered by Christopher Wallace, also known as the Notorious B.I.G., Lil' Kim has made significant strides in the music industry and is one of only three female rappers with three platinum albums.
Tickets are $40 for general admission or $115 for VIP admission and can be purchased here.
Following Lil’ Kim’s performance on Thursday, August 1, there will be another music event on the Poland Spring Stage in Mill River Park. The event, "Legends of the 60’s" starring Chaz Esposito, will take place on Friday, August 2, at 7:00 pm.
This free event is sponsored by Reckson, F.D. Rich Company, Mill River Park & Parachute Concerts and will capture the energy and fun of the countercultural decade. Attendees can expect to hear classic hits like "That’s Life," "Mack The Knife," "Danke Schoen," "It’s Not Unusual," "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You," "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do," and "Sweet Caroline" from a live band as well as enjoy some swinging stories.
