Stamford Downtown Summer Restaurant Weeks Begin Monday, August 19
2024 Options Available at Wide Array of Local Dining Establishments
STAMFORD — Starting Monday, August 19, residents and visitors alike will be able to choose from a selection of deals being offered during Stamford Downtown’s summer restaurant weeks. Continuing through Monday, September 2, the options will be available at nearly three dozen restaurants.
The seasonal celebration of the rich downtown dining scene will provide culinary delicacies native to Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, France, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Peru, South Korea, the United States, and more.
There will be prix-fixe and take-out offerings for lunch and dinner listed on menus at “value-oriented prices,” a Stamford Downtown press release said. This includes menus and special promotions ranging from $15-$20 for lunch, $30-$55 for dinner, and $15 special promotions.
The pricing does not extend to any orders placed through third-party services like DoorDash, GrubHub, and Uber Eats. Some restaurants participating are dine-in only, and some are not open for lunch and dinner. Details can be found at stamford-downtown.com/events/restaurant-weeks.
This year, there is also a new partnership with the Stamford Art Association, providing local artwork to be displayed at many participating venues.
Additionally, for anyone who takes part in Summer Restaurant Weeks, the Avon Theatre Film Center is offering a free medium popcorn with the purchase of a General Admission ticket. Interested patrons can request an Avon voucher during their dining experience.
